All things Nottingham - Part 2

Today I visited Spinster's Emporium situated just near the train station. Full of lovely vintage fabrics, wallpaper, buttons and trimmings. Perfect for anyone feeling crafty, and they run workshops! In a fantastic studio space with a cafe downstairs (Fentiman's lemonade? Don't mind if I do...). Go see! X

All things Nottingham - Part 1

At long last I have flown the nest and landed myself in Nottingham. Not the biggest, boldest move as I did spend my student days here, but it does bring back lots of good memories. I am getting myself settled into my new flat, it is small but oh so perfectly formed, pictures soon, promise! 

So here begins a series of posts about all things Nottingham, well all my favourites at least, number one being Le Chien et Moi, the most enticing shop in the city! Full of beautiful and unusual pieces (and resident Bassett Hound - Mulberry). My favourite piece from this week's visit... a stuffed Jay of course! The festivities are over, and I've had my fill of turkey sarnies but what a fab weekend! Most of my gifts had a homely theme to them, possibly something to do with me relocating to Nottingham on the 4th January. Not a new move as I attended university there, but this time I have my own flat and I don't have to live with smelly students - yay! So forgive me if my posts get a little 'interiors' themed, but I'm rather excited about having my own place. X
