Guilty Pleasure

I have a new guilty pleasure - 'House Gift' on ITV. House Gift sees Laurence LB and other interior designers battle it out to find the ultimate gift for someone's home, each with a budget of £200, £500 or £1000. Treasures and Trinkets

I'm very lucky to have such thoughtful friends. Katy at Fison-Zair and Heather at Little Red have recently treated to me to some lovely bits, here's a little selection (there was more!). I think the nicest thing about these bits is that they've picked up here and there, when they see something I would love. Lots of little bits to find homes for, particularly in my printer's tray. I've currently got something up my sleeve that I'm making for them, details soon! X

Wish List

This piece of furniture is the kind of thing I wouldn't go for usually, but seeing it on Design Sponge's sneak peek post of Jennifer McGargile's home I fell for it. Perhaps it's because I'm a sucker for peonies, they are my absolute favourite. Find it here. X

The festivities are over, and I've had my fill of turkey sarnies but what a fab weekend! Most of my gifts had a homely theme to them, possibly something to do with me relocating to Nottingham on the 4th January. Not a new move as I attended university there, but this time I have my own flat and I don't have to live with smelly students - yay! So forgive me if my posts get a little 'interiors' themed, but I'm rather excited about having my own place. X

The joys of working in retail means my shift starts at 4.30am tomorrow and I can't sleep... As I have to work amongst those crazy sale shoppers I've decided to indulge my self in a little sale shopping too. I couldn't face the crowds though, online from Graham & Green I've bought this lovely quilt, perfect for my new flat (more about that later). X

Today I'm in the mood to tidy and organise, mostly my study and bedroom (both a complete mess). These photos remind me of how lovely my room can be when I've tidied...
